Yet perhaps most remarkable is the way in which they unfurl their leaves in the morning to catch the daylight before curling up once more to go to sleep at night.

Penelopewill arrive pre-planted with plenty of healthy compost in a plastic growpot with holes in the bottom to allow for drainage when watering. As a result, this growpot will require an additional pot, which you'll find recommended in the correct size below.
LIKES
Prayer plantprefers bright indirect sunlight so a shady spot of a brightly lit room is perfect. It important for this plant to have a high level of humidity to keep thriving. You can provide that by misting regularly. the plantalso likes it when you clean her leaves when they get a little dusty, which is best done with a damp cloth.
DISLIKES
Prayer Plantdoesn't like direct sunlight on her leaves, as it will fade her impressive markings.
LOOKING AFTER THIS PLANT
Prayer plantwill thank you for keeping her soil moist between March-October by giving her a good soak approximately once per week. If her soil is still moist after one week, leave her alone for a couple of days. Between November-February reduce watering to once every 10-15 days, allowing her soil to dry out between waterings. . Mist every other day to increase humidity, this will prevent browning on the tips.
